Pre-Season
Primary jobs:
- Identify season-group warzones and major alliances.
- Begin diplomacy before cross-warzone territory opens.
- Prepare stamina/resources for the opening seasonal progression race.
- Explain Engineer vs War Leader before players are forced to make uninformed profession choices.
- Leadership maps a route toward high-value cities / Lv6 before first capture.
Version note:
- A Pre-Season Capitol event is supported, but exact day remains rollout-sensitive. Use the in-game Season schedule instead of hard-coding a universal day.
Week 1 — Build the engine
Current maintained calendar:
- Day 1: Purge Action begins.
- Day 1: Purge the Polluted Area begins.
- Day 1: Serum Shop begins.
- Day 2: Serum Collection begins.
- Day 3: Lv1 City Clash in the maintained modern calendar; BlackBar Gaming will still tell players to follow the live City Clash timer because historical deployment wording has conflicted.
- Day 4: Kimberly Exclusive Weapon window.
- Day 7: Lv2 cities.
Primary player loop:
Mutant Crystals -> Protein Farms -> Immune Protein -> VRI -> Virus Resistance -> stronger seasonal enemies -> more seasonal resources.
Main Week 1 guidance:
- Push Protein production early.
- Level normal Protein Farms efficiently rather than blindly maxing one while cheap equal-production levels remain elsewhere.
- Keep VRI moving so resistance does not become the progression bottleneck.
- Complete Serum Collection daily.
- Treat Serum Fragments as progression currency first, not cosmetic currency.
- Use Virus Resistance, not displayed squad power alone, to judge seasonal PvE readiness.
- Leadership chooses Strongholds based on the future city route, not only easiest immediate capture.
Week 2 — Permanent hero decisions + city pressure
- Mason SSR -> UR promotion unlocks.
- Hero Level Swap unlocks.
- Crimson Legion begins.
- Lv3 cities around Season Day 10 in the maintained calendar.
- Lv4 cities around Season Day 14.
Mason rule to teach clearly:
- Mason must be 5-star SSR to promote.
- Promotion resets him to 3-star UR.
- Hero level remains.
- Skills reset and eligible invested resources are refunded according to the event.
- Wall 160 is a recommended shard-preparation target, not a hard promotion requirement.
- 160 Wall levels correspond to 1,600 refundable Mason shards under the maintained current promotion math, enough to restore the promoted Mason from 3-star UR to 5-star.
Crimson Legion maintained-current details:
- Tuesday and Friday city attacks.
- Target announced before attack.
- Current maintained event page describes 20 reinforcing participants and 30 waves.
- Failed waves damage city durability; zero durability can lose the city.
Week 3 — Warzone Expedition
- Warzone Expedition opens in Week 3.
- Maintained modern timing places Warzone Expedition on Week 3 Day 2 / Season Day 16; use the live Season schedule if your rollout differs.
- Lv5 city around Day 17.
- DVA Exclusive Weapon around Day 18.
- Lv6 city around Day 21.
- Seasonal Tank / Aircraft / Missile Military Bases become relevant.
- Alliance Outposts become the cross-warzone bridgehead system.
Primary leadership shift:
- Outpost placement must support a real Stronghold -> city route.
- Foreign-warzone base safety depends on terrain/event state, not a simple safe/unsafe rule.
- Prioritize the temporary Military Base that supports the actual main squad; do not inflate all three only for account power.
Week 4 — Cross-warzone city war + Builder decision
- Current official guidance previously captured in the private truth sheets uses Wednesday and Saturday cross-warzone city declaration days.
- Maintained modern calendar begins the declaration phase in Week 4.
- Builder Alliance unlocks in Week 4 and is irreversible for the rest of the season once selected.
- Infinite Octagon preparation begins.
- Maintained calendar opens the Capitol / Apocalypse City around Week 4 Day 7 / Season Day 28.
Builder Alliance should be presented as a decision matrix, not “weak alliances should switch.”
Evaluate:
- realistic City Race ceiling,
- active-hour coverage,
- ability to defend territory,
- diplomacy/support role,
- Influence reward opportunity cost,
- whether Builder facilities provide more practical value than continued city competition.
Week 5 — Infinite Octagon quarterfinal
- Maintained modern calendar: Saturday / Season Day 34.
- Player guidance becomes more server-war focused.
- Leadership needs opponent scouting, server-wide assignments and Capitol objective discipline.
Week 6 — Tesla + Octagon semifinal
- Tesla Exclusive Weapon: maintained calendar around Season Day 39.
- Semifinal: Saturday / around Season Day 41.
- Begin evaluating whether additional temporary seasonal-building spending still creates useful value.
Week 7 — Octagon final + final active push
- Final: Saturday / around Season Day 48.
- Finish profession goals.
- Finalize Influence/territory strategy.
- Establish settlement reward criteria before Week 8.
- Avoid blindly hoarding seasonal resources for uncertain conversion value.
Week 8 — Settlement
- Reward distribution / final settlement.
- Alliance and Warzone Influence determine reward positioning.
- Temporary Season 1 buildings disappear.
- UR Mason promotion remains permanent.
- Target-version firsthand: leftover Mutant Crystals convert to Profession EXP.
- Immune Protein and Serum Fragment exact target-version conversion remain unresolved and should not be universalized.
Celebration / Post-Season
- Black Market is a major permanent-progression opportunity.
- Modern maintained versions provide later F2P access to Exclusive Weapon activation shards for Kimberly, DVA and Tesla.
- Bingo and other celebration events exist, but the exact event list can vary by rollout.
- Do not promise a fixed interval from Celebration to Season 2.
