SEASON 1 · HERO & EVENTS

Infection / RA Virus

Safe modern guidance for infection stacks and treatment.

ScopeModern Serum rollout

Quick read

Infection is a combat complication; Virus Resistance remains the main progression system. Treat harmful stacks quickly instead of making infection the center of your season plan.

Facts

  • Maintained modern guidance describes a normal 0–100 stack state.
  • Attacking infected content below relevant Resistance can add infection.
  • Alliance treatment can remove infection; natural recovery is slower.
  • At 100 stacks, maintained wording describes a countdown followed by a virus burst that can infect nearby bases and relocate the infected base.

BlackBar Gaming recommends

  • Keep important rally/capture participants clean.
  • Use alliance treatment when stacks begin hurting combat.

Watch out

  • Exact transfer quantities, blast radius and special-skin stack overrides remain version-sensitive.
DETAILED GUIDE

How it works

Why this belongs in Week 2

By Week 2, players are fighting stronger infected targets, defending cities, and participating in more alliance territory activity. Infection becomes easier to encounter, but Virus Resistance remains the more important progression system.

Do not let the infection page overshadow Resistance.

Safe mechanics to teach

Maintained modern event guidance currently describes:

  • Infection ranges from 0 to 100 stacks in the normal state.
  • Attacking infected content while below the relevant Resistance can add infection.
  • Certain special infected/stronghold defenders can infect even when Resistance is otherwise sufficient.
  • Alliance members can remove infection by sending the treatment/scout interaction.
  • Natural recovery exists but is slow compared with alliance treatment.
  • Higher infection produces progressively worse effects.
  • At 100 stacks, current maintained wording describes a short countdown followed by a virus burst that infects nearby bases and relocates the infected base.

Current maintained threshold table

Treat these as maintained-current, not first-party-client-locked, until the corresponding current client strings are isolated:

Stacks Maintained-current effect
0 Healthy
1+ Hospitalization / periodic serious injury effect
20+ Low Morale / damage reduction
40+ Lethal Virus / increased casualty pressure
60+ Virus-spread effect becomes more dangerous
100 Virus burst / nearby infection + random relocation

Do not copy older 80-stack/150-stack/pumpkin-skin variants into the core guide without a version note. Player reports show this mechanic has been adjusted across rollouts.

Practical player advice

  • Keep rally leaders and important capture participants clean when possible.
  • Ask for alliance treatment rather than sitting on harmful stacks unintentionally.
  • Do not attack dramatically above your Resistance just to gain infection; that can create unnecessary troop loss.
  • If completing a “spread virus” seasonal goal, use the game's current protection/settings intentionally rather than fighting alliance healing.
  • Treat offensive virus-bomb tactics as an advanced/version-sensitive tactic, not basic Week 2 guidance.

What not to publish as universal yet

  • Exact natural-heal rate.
  • Exact amount of infection carried by marching troops.
  • Exact infection transferred per PvP hit.
  • Exact blast radius/number of bases.
  • Special-skin maximum stack overrides.
  • Old chain-reaction behavior that may have been nerfed.

These belong in the validation ledger until current-client text or a controlled modern screenshot confirms them.
