🟦 Facts
- In Season 2, personal Virus Resistance is increased by upgrading the High-Heat Furnace.
- A rally leader’s Virus Resistance is applied to members whose Resistance is lower.
- Members whose Resistance is higher retain their own value.
- Dig Site guardians and other seasonal enemies have Resistance requirements or penalties.
🦠 Rally example
If a rally leader has higher Resistance than a member, the lower-Resistance member benefits from the leader’s Resistance for that rally. A member who already has higher Resistance than the leader keeps the member’s own higher value.
This mechanic helps access harder targets; it does not guarantee the squad has enough combat power to win.
📣
Rally leader
Use the highest practical Resistance leader when the alliance is pushing a seasonal target that lower-Resistance members cannot efficiently attack alone.
👥
Rally members
Join the assigned high-Resistance leader, but still use a strong appropriate squad. Resistance solves the seasonal penalty problem; normal hero, gear, troop, and squad strength still matter.
🟩 BlackBar Gaming recommends
- Use higher-Resistance rally leaders to help lower-Resistance members participate when squad strength is sufficient.
- Before assuming a failed rally is only a Resistance problem, compare target weakness, squad type, hero strength, troops, and remaining seasonal penalties.
🟥 Warning
- No universal Resistance or squad-power requirement is published in this handbook. Use the target screen and current damage/loss results.
Resistance penalty details
- When Virus Resistance is too low, troop damage is reduced and enemy damage is increased.
- After increasing Virus Resistance, the new value takes effect after troops are redeployed from the Base.
