Where the three central Season 2 resources come from and where they go.
ScopeWEEK 1 · FOUNDATION
🟦 Facts
Coal powers personal and Alliance Furnace heat. Sources include first-time seasonal zombie kills, Season Quests, owned Dig Sites, and seasonal Furnace goals.
Titanium Alloy upgrades the High-Heat Furnace. Sources include first-time seasonal zombie kills, Season Quests, Furnace goals, and the eligible daily Doom Walker first-blood reward.
In-game descriptions differ on Dig Site Rare Soil: the dedicated Digging Stronghold production rule emphasizes Coal, while a separate current Rare Soil acquisition tip says captured Digging Strongholds can also produce a small amount of Rare Soil each hour. Cities remain a Rare Soil source; use the live territory screen for exact current production values.
Rare Soil is the season-ranking resource and can be plundered through successful Rare Soil War attacks.
🟩 BlackBar Gaming recommends
Claim Dig Site production regularly and spend Coal only when heat provides a clear benefit.
Use remaining Coal, Titanium Alloy, and Polar Dishes ingredients before settlement when their direct seasonal value is better for you; settlement clears them and converts them into Profession EXP at a subject to change rate.
🟥 Warning
Use the live screens for exact production values, pass contents, prices, conversion rates, and upgrade costs.
🟥 Warning
do not teach Dig Sites = Coal / Cities = Rare Soil as a universal binary while the in-game descriptions differ.
