SEASON 2

Furnace Defense

The objective, attack plan, defense plan, and member orders.

ScopeWEEK 4 · RARE SOIL WAR

🟨 Rules & schedules

  • The defending Alliance Furnace can be attacked during War without a territory connection.
  • The Furnace can be reinforced by up to 100 squads. Attackers must defeat defending troops before reducing Furnace durability.
  • Destroying the Furnace before the timer ends gives the attacker victory and ends that battle early; otherwise the defense wins.
  • The Furnace does not automatically recover durability, and relocation is forbidden once the Rare Soil War Prep Stage begins.
  • When multiple attackers are involved, plunder share is based on each attacker’s contribution to Furnace durability damage.
  • Invited defense-partner squads do not fight the inviter or the defender’s other partners.
  • If leadership does not rebuild during End of War, the Furnace is automatically rebuilt before the stage closes.

🧭 Furnace Positioning & Defense visual guide

Rare Soil War Furnace Positioning and Defense visual guideOpen the full-size visual guide.
⚔️ Attacker

Attack playbook

  1. Before War, confirm the target Furnace, rally leaders, Warlord Missile plan, and which squads must remain available.
  2. At battle start, use designated rallies to break the Furnace garrison and keep pressure on the objective.
  3. As defending squads fall, continue synchronized attacks so the defender has less time to refill the garrison.
  4. Once the garrison is cleared, prioritize Furnace durability damage; this is what wins the battle and matters to attacker contribution.
  5. Do not waste main squads on unrelated base attacks unless leadership assigns that job.
🛡️ Defender

Defense playbook

  1. Before Prep, confirm the Furnace position; before War, fill the Furnace according to the announced garrison plan and keep replacement squads available.
  2. Reinforce immediately when leadership calls for replacements; the goal is continuous protection of Furnace durability.
  3. Heal and recycle squads as the battle allows so defeated garrison slots can be replaced.
  4. Do not attempt to relocate the Furnace after the Rare Soil War Prep Stage begins.
  5. If defense partners are present, coordinate roles and communications before the timer starts.
👥 Member orders

Regular member orders

  • Attack role: join the designated rally leaders and keep required marches free.
  • Defense role: reinforce the Furnace when called and follow the announced garrison order.
  • Do not tie up your main squad in unrelated rallies, zombies, or gathering immediately before the battle.
  • Watch alliance announcements throughout Preparation and War because assignments can change quickly.
  • If the Nuclear Missile disrupts the Furnace area, regroup according to leadership instructions instead of scattering independently.

🟥 Warning

  • PvP permissions differ between Wednesday and Saturday rounds; use the live event screen before broad base attacks.

Wednesday vs Saturday base fighting

  • Wednesday is a Rare Soil battle day but not the general cross-Warzone War Day. Current Season 2 rules allow cross-Warzone base attacks on non-War Days when the target base is inside Contaminated Land.
  • Saturday is War Day, so cross-Warzone base attacks are broadly available under the current Season 2 rules.
  • These normal base-PvP rules do not block the declared Rare Soil objective: attackers can directly march on the defending Alliance Furnace during War without a territory connection on either battle day.

🟥 Warning

  • On Wednesday, do not build an attack plan around hitting normal enemy bases outside Contaminated Land. On Saturday, broader base pressure is possible, but the Furnace remains the actual Rare Soil win condition.

Current Furnace battle restrictions

  • Alliance Furnace relocation is forbidden once the Rare Soil War Prep Stage begins.
  • Continuous marching is disabled while attacking the Alliance Furnace.

War-start immediate defeat rule

  • If the defending Alliance Furnace has 0 durability or has not been built when the War Stage starts, the defense is ruled an immediate defeat.
  • Attackers can still loot Rare Soil after an immediate defeat. If multiple attackers are involved, the current rules say the lootable Rare Soil is split evenly in this specific immediate-defeat case.

Battle access, War Score and attacker contribution

  • An Alliance cannot march on the defending Alliance Furnace unless it declared war on that target.
  • the game’s War Score Ranking tracks Alliance Furnace durability reduction and kills of war-opponent units.
  • The separate Attacker Contribution Ranking is based on total durability reduced from the enemy Alliance Furnace.
  • Higher attacker contribution earns a larger share of the lootable Rare Soil after an attacking victory.
  • Enemy-unit kills can therefore help War Score, but Furnace durability damage is what determines the objective, attacker contribution, and multi-attacker Rare Soil split.

🟩 BlackBar Gaming recommends

  • Attack leadership should assign players who are chasing enemy kills without letting those fights pull the main damage squads away from the Furnace objective.
  • Because continuous marching is disabled against the Alliance Furnace, plan rally leaders and repeat attack calls instead of expecting an automatic continuous-march loop.
