SEASON 2

Engineer Profession Guide

A growth-first route with a clear Season 2 Lv. 1–70 main-tree roadmap.

ScopeREFERENCE & TOOLS

Recommended starting position

Engineer is the general default for most players. Its value compounds through faster progress, reduced costs, repeatable rewards, and alliance support. Keep the growth engine working unless your account and alliance role clearly benefit more from War Leader.

Season 2 Engineer main-tree unlock roadmap

Use this as the quick unlock map for the main Engineer tree through the Season 2 cap. Branch prerequisites still matter, so the live Profession Hall remains the final check before spending points.

🟦 Facts

  • Efficient Gathering increases Gathering Speed—not gathering time.
  • Battlefield Cleanup currently names Ironhead, Glutton, Miser, and Doom Elites as the enemies that trigger extra Food, Iron, and Coin gains.
  • Outstanding Contribution increases Alliance Contribution Points earned from technology donations and helping allies, but it does not affect contribution rankings.
  • One More gives the Daily Task points chest a chance to double rewards. Support Boost increases the amount of help time applied per Alliance Help action.

🟩 BlackBar Gaming recommends

  • Growth-first core: favor Rapid Production, Build for Free, Research for Free, Build Now, Research Now, Cooperative Construction, Cooperative Research, Resource-Saving, Recycling, and Master Builder while account growth is your bottleneck.
  • Strong recurring value: Extra Meal, Drone Supply, One More, Support Boost, and Instant Gathering can pay off repeatedly when you actually use their effects and cooldowns.
  • War / role tools: Siege Mastery, Rally Rush, Siege Banner, Friendly Aid, Medical Aid, Buddy Shield, Fearless Defense, Durability Mine, and First Aid Expert become more valuable when your alliance has a specific plan for them.
  • Usually later unless they solve a real bottleneck: Outstanding Contribution, Siege Inspiration, Efficient Gathering, Random Visitors, Battlefield Cleanup, and Monster Tracking.

🟩 BlackBar Gaming recommends

  • Use the main Engineer tree for long-running growth efficiency and use the Season 2 seasonal column for season-specific heat, Profession EXP, and tactical tools.
  • Use Professional Insights and other repeatable active skills consistently when learned; unused cooldowns produce no value.
  • Building Inspiration I is strongest while seasonal buildings are still being upgraded.
  • Buy Firebomb, Frostbomb, Frost Mine, and Intense Overdrive for an actual heat or war plan—not merely because another player selected them.

When to remain Engineer

  • Seasonal construction and research still consume meaningful resources or time.
  • You reliably use Engineer's repeatable production and reward skills.
  • Your alliance needs heat, construction, research, or resource support more than another combat specialist.

🟥 Warning

  • Do not copy fixed target numbers blindly. Skill dependencies, resets, available points, alliance role, and how often you use active cooldowns can change the best allocation.
  • For Season 2, this roadmap stops at Profession Level 70. Skills shown at Lv. 75–100 in later-season references are intentionally excluded from the Season 2 build.
  • Only values explicitly listed in the guide are shown; use the skill screen for any values not listed.
  • Do not publish a fixed Level 70 Skill Point total from Profession Level alone.
