- Expansion can continue from owned Cities or owned Dig Sites.
- If territory is split, expansion may continue from either connected group.
- Dig Sites cannot be captured across warzones in Season 2.
🗺️ Route-planning checklist
- Identify the next City or higher-value objective before choosing today’s Dig Site.
- Confirm the Dig Site actually creates the adjacency needed for that future objective.
- Check the guardian troop type and weakness so the alliance can clear it efficiently.
- Account for the two-capture daily limit and the four-Dig-Site ownership cap before using a capture on a dead-end route.
- Keep at least one practical route toward future City levels instead of expanding only toward the easiest immediate target.

Join the announced target and avoid starting unrelated participation activity when leadership is trying to finish the day’s second capture.

Plan the next several captures on the map, not just the next one. A capture should improve income, unlock a route, or position the alliance for a scheduled City objective.
