🟦 Facts

Cold Waves can sharply lower temperature across the server.
At -20°C or lower, a five-minute freezing countdown begins; rallies and standard teleport become unavailable only after the base freezes.
Alliance and random relocates remain available while frozen.
The Alliance Furnace, personal Furnace, and warmth sent by allies can raise temperature.

Check the Season 2 Cold Wave screen before the event and make sure enough Coal is available for the expected temperature drop.
Enable the appropriate automatic Furnace settings before a Blizzard if you may be offline.
After the dangerous cold period ends, check that the personal Furnace is not continuing to consume Coal unnecessarily.
Stay within Alliance Furnace or captured-city heat when practical.
Leadership should monitor members who are approaching the freeze threshold and coordinate warming help.
Use Overdrive only when the additional heat is actually needed to avoid freezing or for a planned heat strategy.

Blizzard severity and Coal requirements increase with conditions; this handbook does not publish a universal Coal amount.

When automatic Furnace Overdrive is enabled for a Blizzard, the game can automatically disable Overdrive after the Blizzard passes.
Still check the Furnace state afterward so Coal is not consumed unnecessarily.
